The people of Malawi are in despair, suffering from diseases such as AIDS, malaria and TB. Nearly one-third of the young adult population of Malawi is infected with the HIV virus.
EMAS sends missions teams to assist Lifeline Malawi in their medical work.
Lifeline Malawi Association (LM)
is an NGO dedicated to providing medical aid to the people of developing countries. In partnership with other humanitarian organizations, Lifeline Malawi provides a combination of medical, emotional and spiritual care for people within the Malawian communities it serves. They administer primary healthcare through out-patient and emergency clinics. They also provide medicines, HIV/AIDS programs, safe water, sanitation and self-sustainment programs. They've established their first medical outreach in the lakeshore community of Ngodzi, a rural community of approximately 40,000 people.
Planning your Lifeline Malawi (LM) Short-term Mission (STM)
Lifeline Malawi is excited to join together in partnership with short-term missions teams that are aligned with their core values and are willing to come with a servant's heart and help them advance their vision for the people of Malawi.
