Z1a - Haiti
School & Feeding Centre

 

The El-Shaddai primary school and feeding centre building was destroyed by the earthquake. Funding is needed for the building project underway, classroom support and the feeding centre currently providing the children 3 meals per week.

 

    A gift of $40 or more will help provide a solid building, safe drinking water and sanitation.
    A gift of $135 will provide a hot meal for 238 students.
    A gift of $400
    will maintain a classroom of 20 for one month (including teacher salaries).

Building Project


   

 

The El-Shaddai church community, in Bon Repos, is building a much-needed holistic Ministry Centre, which will include a church/hurricane shelter, a primary school/feeding centre and a healthcare clinic.

They've begun construction and believe God will provide the funds for them to continue.

     

    A gift of $50 will fund one square foot towards this construction project.
    A gift of $100 will fund two square feet.
    A gift of $500 will fund ten square feet.

Eye Care

 

 


Many people have poor vision as they cannot afford the cost of eyeglasses. This programs helps improve their eyesight.

    A gift of $25 buys a pair of prescription eyeglasses
    for a villager.

    A gift of $250 buys eyeglasses for 10 villagers.

Health

 

Skills upgrading seminars, conducted by the EMAS China East Team, namely specialty and sub-specialty teaching directed to all medical personnel. Funding is needed to cover costs related to facilities, student travel, and accommodations.

New hospitals are being set up in under-serviced areas. Hospital beds are greatly needed.

    A gift of $200 will help a healthcare worker attend an educational conference.

    A gift of $450 buys a hospital bed for a new hospital.

Medical Ins.

 

 


Many families with chronic illnesses, in Dalian, cannot afford the treatment they so desperately need. This program helps to cover the healthcare costs by providing medical insurance for poor families.

Z5 - China South
Child's Surgery

 

 

Many families of children who need surgery cannot afford to pay for it. The children struggle through life without the interventions they need. Funds are needed to cover the expenses incurred to provide surgery for children with a cleft lip, a cleft palate, injuries, burns, congenital deformities or surgery for a child in need of a traumatic amputation.

    A gift of $100 will cover medications or
    surgical supplies for one child’s surgery.
    A gift of $400 will cover hospital charges.
    A gift of $700 will cover the total cost
    of surgery
    for one child.

Outreach Project

 

 

Healthcare benefits are not available to factory workers and villagers. We try to meet their needs, both physically and spiritually. We also assist in training physicians of Faith.

A gift of $20 will cover the cost of medication for one patient at an outreach clinic.
A gift of $500 will cover required dental supplies on mission trips, for one year.
A gift of $800 will cover a resident’s training for one month.

The maternity ward at the RAMBIA Health Centre, near Fort Portal, is in much need of supplies and the RAMBIA pharmacy is low on stock.

Community Health

 

The mosquitos, in this region, are infected with malaria, which is often deadly. Bed nets save many lives. Immunization is needed for measles which is sometimes crippling and even deadly. People suffering from malnutrition are the most vulnerable.

A gift of $5 will buy 1 mosquito net and saves 5 lives.
A gift of $50 will buy 10 mosquito nets and saves 50 lives.

A gift of $35 buys sufficient bean seeds for a small village providing a good source of protein.
A gift of $120 funds a measles immunization clinic for a village, for a year.

A sewing machine will enable the women of the RAMBIA women's group to make garments and other things to generate income. This will help them provide for their basic needs, live better and become self-sufficient.

EMAS sponsors mission trips for Christian medical and dental students, to help them find their calling. You can contribute by donating to the Student Mission Fund. Imagine the number of lives that could be touched for God through a young missionary.

    A gift of $100 will contribute towards a student’s trip.
    A gift of $1,000 covers an entire student bursary.

Disbursement of funds is limited to Board approved programs or projects. Every contribution which has been designated towards a Board approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that, when there are sufficient funds for the said program or project, or if it cannot be completed for reasons determined by the Board, the remaining designated contributions for such program or project will be used where needed most. Donations cannot be refunded or transferred to another donor.
