A visit to Toronto is an adventure into different cultures as it is home to over 100 diverse cultures, many with their own distinct districts of the city such as Little Italy, Greektown and Chinatown.

Toronto is a traveller-friendly city with so much to see and do. Known as “The Megacity,” it is the largest city in Canada. It is a city on the move which also has an underground city with the world’s largest underground shopping complex.

Taking a tour is a very efficient way to make the most of your time in Toronto. It’s main attractions include the CN Tower, Ontario Place, the CNE, Casa Loma, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Ontario Science Centre, just to name a few. Artists' Gardens

Annual exhibit of over 11 gardens. Artists from a number of disciplines come together to create live displays that go beyond traditional concepts of gardening. Art Gallery of Ontario

This is one of the largest art museums in North America, displaying over 5,000 works in a total of 110 galleries. Location: 317 Dundas St. W., Toronto. Bata Shoe Museum

The award-winning building houses a varied collection of footwear, ranging from the practical to the incredible. Four exhibitions are on display at any one time. Location: 327 Bloor St. W. Beyond Imaginings–3

Eight Artists Encounter Ontario's Greenbelt. Art exhibition commissioning of the work of eight emerging Ontario-based photographers, each one focuses on a distinct aspect of Ontario's Greenbelt, one of the world's largest natural resources. Bharati

A live musical which explores the magnificent colours, scents and flavours of India. Raised in the U.S., Siddharth returns home with a negative attitude towards the Indian culture. In spite of his scoffing, Siddharth is attracted to the mysterious Bharati who helps him to see the wonders of India from a different point of view. Black Creek Pioneer Village

To visit Black Creek Pioneer Village is to journey back in time to explore life in Ontario in the early days. Casa Loma

An actual castle in the centre of the city, Casa Loma has secret passageways, majestic towers, a long staircase, an 800-foot tunnel, stables and five-acre gardens. Chess, The Musical

CN Tower

An architectural and engineering wonder, the CN Tower is an award-winning dining and entertainment destination. Gibson House Museum

Built in 1851, the Gibson House was the home of Scottish immigrant David Gibson and his family. He was a land surveyor who helped map early Toronto. Haute Culture: General Idea, A Retrospective, 1969-1994

L'Orchestre d'Hommes-Orchestres performs Tom Waits

Equipped with almost 100 items as invented instruments, L'Orchestre d'Hommes-Orchestres performs in wacky scenes of unbridled energy. This is a powerful tribute to the world of Tom Waits. Mackenzie House Museum

Here's a chance to explore Victorian life by visiting an authentic historic building and museum that was the last home of Toronto's first mayor, William Lyon Mackenzie. The museum gives visitors a chance to explore the print shop and the gallery and provides an opportunity to view the many changing exhibitions. Toronto Walking Tour
