Marcelo Garcia

Dr. Marcelo Garcia is a physician from Winnipeg who grew up in Argentina and came to Canada in 1989. He is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine of the University of Manitoba. He did extra training in Palliative Care and has worked full time in this area for the past fourteen years.

Dr. Garcia has been involved with EMAS for several years both as a Board Member and as the leader of the Cuba team. He is also involved with the work of the Manitoba chapter of the Christian Medical and Dental Society of Canada. He is married and has four children.
