On April 19, 2015 China South Team invited friends and family to help them raise funds for their upcoming short-term mission’s trips by participating in their 2015 Walkathon for Hope at Thomson Memorial Park. There was a good turnout in Toronto and 40 people celebrated their achievements by gathering for a post-walk dinner. The weather was sunny and windy, but their spirits were good to complete the trail.

2015 is here, full of promise and opportunity! We look back on 2014 with gratitude for what God has done in and through EMAS Canada. Our Vision: “Christ-centered healthcare teams proclaiming God’s love to all the world through healing and teaching”, drives our Mission: “to heal, teach and serve those in need in a Christ-like manner.” God has been faithful to us since 1948. We are confident that He will continue to use us for decades to come.
Melony Teague, born in South Africa, now lives in Canada with her husband and two young children. She is a writer who believes everyone has a story to tell and each one is unique and sometimes wilder than fiction. She is delighted to join the EMAS family as communications and PR assistant and is excited about helping us “TELL OUR STORIES” in keeping with the EMAS Strategic plan
EMAS Canada continues to seek opportunities to deploy new teams and widen the influence of existing teams. In the coming months, the China South Surgical Team will be exploring a new partnership with a hospital in Lijiang, and EMAS Canada will be exploring the formation of new teams in India and Zimbabwe.
